WARNING: if these Do Now posts are nonsense, it is due to the EXTREMELY unbearable heat in this classroom. Thank you for killing us.

The information about the previous reaction to repurposing, the criteria that Crew supposedley put forward, and the fact that the repurposing was unpoopular amongst board members wasn’t attributed correctley.
The opinion of ome board memebers, the upcoming vote, and the actions at the previous board meeting was properly attributed.

I could not find any bias except the fact that the author only got the point of view of the board memebrs and not parents in the underenrolled areas nor faculty whoseschools meets the criteria.

Properly attributed: School Board member Martin Karp said having concrete criteria for selecting schools to be closed could take some of the emotion out of the conversation — and lead to more community support.”For a parent or an educator, hearing that your school will be repurposed could be devastating,” he said. “But, if there’s a rationale, people can buy into it a little more. They can recognize that it wasn’t an arbitrary decision, but something that was well thought out and received a lot of attention.”
Not properly attributed: Last month, Crew put forth a procedure for selecting schools. It was never discussed publicly, as the board elected to hold a separate workshop on repurposing. ((Crew declined to be interviewed for this story.))

Some quotes come from sources (which are people) and it states where they are from, so it is properly attributed. Like where the low grade stats came from an internal document is where). I find this article somewhat objective because they could have had a more variety of quotes.

To start off I would like to state that this heat is killing my brains cells causing me not to think straight here is my hardest attempt at completing my work without having a heat storke!

-The information that is properly attributed is the procedures that went on between the school board members and the discussions since it came from them and they are the ones who ultimately decides.

    - This article is very objective

The information is overall properly attributed. The article was objective but somehow seemed to slightly side with teh people against the repurposing of the schools.
Random comment, the article repeated the word repurpose about 20 times which totally makes the article drag on without a change. :S

The information that is properly attributed in this article is the voting.
The information that is NOT properly attributed in this article are the procedure for selecting schools.
    This article is objective.

    Continued:

The information that is not attributed is what the parents thought since it did not come directly from them

    1. What information is properly attributed in this article?
    2. What information is not properly attributed?
    3. Is this article objective? Why or why not?
    * I do not get this article! *
    1. The information that is properly attributed is the criteria, the grading of the schools.
    2.
    3. It does seem bias because a variety of quotes. However, the article is focusing a bit more on the negative side. I also don’t see any reactions from students or parents. [ but because we do not know which schools are closing.
    ITS HOT!!! :(
