He went to a gradeschool and talked to the kids and teachers of the most involved classes. To get the quotes, he probably asked them about their opinions and sat in on debates and discussions.

Reported: I think the authir reported the story quite well. She gathered a lot of quotes from students, from their teachers, found out what each of them knew, recorded statistics from the vote, and as for her writing… I found it quite advanced and mature.
Gathering Information: I think it was quite interesting how the reporter got facts and views from the little children. A reporter must talk to them on their level to get the answers. The quotes from the teachers was easy because someone, like this reporter, must talk to them on a mature level.
I think this story was too cute! The young children to know stuff about the upcoming election and have personal views on who would win just made them even more adorable.

I think that the writers reported this by first finding out that this was going to take place, then they decided to go and witness what was happening interview the students and the teachers.

I believe the author reported this story well. The article was interesting to read so we can see what some young children think of the primaries and the candidates. It was organized had detail and it was very clear and easy to understand. He talked to all the people he quoted.

This article is very well written, it offers the facts but in such a way that the reader can understand what the reporter is talking about.
Among those quoted are the two fourth grade teachers and a couple of fourth graders. He talked to everyone in a way that they managed to give interesting and humorous quotes therefore making his article even better.. Although we have to keep in mind that he is working with a fourth grade class.

This story was reported because if the upcoming primary election between Obama and Clinton. Also because kids usually dont get a say in polotics and the writer thout it was intresting.
The writer talked mostly to kids. Mostly on what there opinions were on ther subject.

The author reported it by showing clear “evidence” that small kids are infact more into politics than many other things. He quotes them rather than saying it himself. He talks to them probably as he would to an adult.

When you think of an election you think of working class men debating a controverial issue. Not after reading this article:
Michael Kassabian, a fourth grader at Erdenheim Elementary School.
Renea Boles: teacher
Henry Centeno: a fourth grader at Erdenheim Elementary School.
“McCain would be the oldest elected president,” said Anthony Bosca, another student in Miss Boles’s class.
This reporter found a very intersting way of reporting a side of the primaries, and describing how older people felt about the kids involvement in the race
