This is very unproffesional. Unlike the other reviews, this gives a lot of detail about the characters (Specifically: Amanda) and gives reasons as to why you should watch it. It seems like it was made for a school newspaper and not a paper like the Chicago Tribune. It uses very simple speach, but the reporting is done well. It looks like the author really watched the show and can comment about it.

this article seems to be made for a younger generation considering it uses simple and normal conversational speach. it basicaly just tells you why and that yes you should watch the show because it is “good”…supposedly. even i was interested by the piece ;-)

This article is a lot better than the one written by the high school student.
The writer does not involve him/herself in the story, it uses more extensive vocabulary, and actually gives his/her own opinion.
Still, the author didn’t really include the bad parts of the show.
At least she was really descriptive and talked of what the show was about.

This article is bettter than the last ones we have read! The press release seemed to portray the show way to sweetly and perfectly while the other article seemed to amateur-ish and the writer kept including themselves. This article however is professional and well written while it is opinitated it is witty and good

i meant like, more (extensive) vocabulary than the other articles. but its still pretty average.

i love this one! it had an irony in it that really caught the reader..it described amanda which was pretty good but i think it also could of described the others. but unlike the others this was actually describtive and wasnt too opinionated like the other or just wasnt raw facts like the others =)

The article was really straight forward making it clear that they were going to review in a positive light by listing the shows good points. It was easy to read and understand but nothing amazing.

This review is short and shows in simple terms what “The Paper” is about. Unlike the other articles, this article actually said that “The Paper” is a mixture of “The Office” and “The Hills” and “The Front Page”. It gives a section (two tiny paragraph at the beginning and end) where the opinion of the author is showed, but after that sticks to facts and observations made by the author. It’s certainly not the MTV article promoting their own show and not the article made by the Sun Sentinel where the student didn’t seem to watch the show. ;)

this review differs from the other ones we have read by this review comparing the “unscripted” tv series to other tv shows. Also, this article was much more conversational with the reader and not so new-sy as the other two. Unlike the article written by a student who talked about her own experience, this one gave it’s opinion on the show that it is, in reality, a good show.
Of course, it wasn’t a professional article but it was still pretty good. seriously. no joke. it was interesting to read.

The article had a more laid back feel to it. This was probably writen by a younger writer. I didnt like it because it was too inmature in my opinion.

I like the review a lot. It was short and to the point! It differs from other reviews because the format is different. There are Questions the editor out and under it are the responses. However, other reviews give a longer more descriptive view. It seems as if it were written for younger people rather than adults.

First of all, the review for the paper is very brief and isnt as long as most reviews we have read.
It gives the general plot of the show and mentions characters but other than that there isnt much detail.

It was a bit too conversational/unprofessional. The sentence structure threw me off, and confused me as to what the actual meaning of the sentences were. Its entertaining and witty but its not like most of the reviews we have seen. Its more to the point.

I think this article is not exactly professional, but then again it is a review with allows it to lean towards the blog style of writing. It explains the plot , yet it focuses too much on one single person, Amanda. The other articles were also unprofessional, but at least this one was well written (excellent writing actually =P)
