I think that our incarceration rates are way too high. It probably is because of all the pressures society has now and how people act in response. Like the article said it may be possible to decrease the rate if our punishments were taken more seriously like they were in the 80’s and 90’s

and maybe I shouldn’t even be wasting my time by begging you….but please consider it…. I promise that with an extension my article will be the most amazing and magnificient piece of writing you’ve read in your life!!!!!!
I know that the fact that you are absent is not an excuse for not turning in the assignments… and that we should ask for an extension 2 days before. We were able to go inside the classroom at about 1:20 on the dot because no one was here to open the door =(!! You said that everything was due at the end of class but unfortunately the unexpected happened and now I doubt I’ll be able to complete all of the 3 assignments. Before thinking that I am a slacker and irresponsible (=P) think about this: my writing is getting better and I am making a bigger effort to excell throughout this semester. Alsooooo……………..I’m the funnest student in the class. Therefore, you should truly consider allowing me to turn in at least one of the assignments for the same grade tomorrow morning. Ok so maybe I am not the best in the class
