Announcement from our Sports Editor…

September 12, 2007 · 12 Comments

All Journalism I students:

My name is Aaron Groff, and I am the Sports Editor.  I am looking for people to cover sporting events throughout the year. We need multiple people to do this because there are a lot of games and matches. Our goal is to cover every game possible. We need to cover every single home game for every sport. Away games will be a bonus.

Right now the sports in season are football, golf, bowling, cross country, volleyball, and swimming.

Go to the Beach High athletic calendar at http://viewmyschedule.digitalsports.com/lmpublic/calendar.asp. View all of the events for the current month at the start of every month and comment on this post saying which games you can cover. All of your help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have any questions about covering a sports event send me a post or comment on this post.
