  2. Select the correct answer and correct the error with each sentence.
  3. Submit your answers and corrections as a comment to this post.

Today, students will:

  1. Editors will be editing all period.
  2. Staff writers will review and discuss student reflections : Something I will do better next time is not to generalize so much by getting more quotes from more people. Also I learned I need to get quotes from a variety of people and not just one specific group. It takes a lot of work in scheduling appointments with people and you can’t always interview the people you like because they may be busy.
  3. Everyone will view presentations from the business team.
  4. Staff writers will select one local business to present to.
  5. Madison and Helen will be working on layout.
  6. Begin to learn the differences between news writing and features writing.

Tonight’s homework is:

  1. Final edits due Friday.
  2. All graphics due Friday
  3. Staff writers: Design poll questions for the company you are targeting and create a first draft of your presentation, with placeholders for information you don’t have yet. (Feel free to use this as a model: STARBUCKS III)
  4. There will be a brief editorial meeting after school Friday.
